This guide walks you through the steps of preparing your campaign data and importing it into Phrasee.
1. Find your campaign on the view campaigns page
2. Select your input method
Select the copy/paste from Excel method. Don’t worry if you’ve tweaked any of the lines outside of Phrasee, it will account for any small changes once you paste them.
3. Select what format your results are in
Select if you are inputting your results as percentages or numbers. The input field shows what information to include when pasting the results in.
The minimum required columns are: Subject Line, No. of recipients, Unique Open Rate and Unique Click Rate.
4. Download results from your ESP
Download the results from your ESP and reorganise the columns in that file to match what was shown on the previous page. Select all of the relevant cells and copy-and-paste them into Phrasee.
5. Verify your results are ordered correctly
Check the results are all inputted correctly and in the correct order. You can edit individual fields and drag-and-drop whole columns using the arrow icons. If any Phrasee has tweaked any lines that it shouldn’t have, you can undo these tweaks.
6. Input your final results (if you have them)
You can also add the results for the final send, it’s really useful for Phrasee to learn how the winning subject line performed when it was sent to the remaining segment of your database. If you don’t have the results yet you can simply skip this step for now and add them later.
And that’s it! Phrasee will show you a summary of the results, but more importantly it will learn what performed well on your audience so that it can generate even more awesome subject lines next time.
